Your referral bonus: inviting learners and teachers

You can invite learners and other teachers to OTO and earn a bonus with your monthly pay.

Your dashboard has an Invite card with your code and two links:

Link for learners: opens the learner sign-up with your code filled in.
Link for teachers: opens the teacher sign-up with your code filled in.

Copy a link, or press Share to send it. People can also type your code in Referral code when they sign up.

What you earn

One session's worth for each learner who signs up with your code and pays for anything more than a first trial hour.
Two sessions' worth for each teacher who signs up with your code, once their first monthly pay has been paid.
A session's worth is your own hourly rate for the tier you taught most that month. If you are salaried, it is your salary's hourly equivalent.
A learner you invite also gets 10% off their first package.

How it is paid

The bonus is paid with your monthly pay, as a separate Referral bonus line on your pay slip.
It is a fixed amount: the points bonus and deductions do not change it. It counts toward the EGP 1,000 minimum payout.
A bonus earned for a learner is paid in the payroll of the month the learner paid, or the next one. A bonus for a teacher is paid in the payroll after their first pay is paid.
If a learner's payment is refunded before payroll pays your bonus, that bonus is cancelled. A paid bonus is never taken back.
If HR has not set your rate yet, the bonus waits for the next payroll.

The rules

Only new accounts created with your code count, each account can be invited once, and you cannot invite yourself. Sessions with a learner you invited are taught and paid as usual. The full rules are in the Instructor Terms.
