Submitting your monthly availability

You set the weekly hours students can book with you, one month at a time, on the My availability page: otocourses.app/en/app/teach/availability

The submission window

• Submit next month's weekly hours between the 15th and the 20th of each month (Cairo time).
• The new hours apply from the 1st of next month.
• You can change your submission as often as you like until the 20th.
• Students can book your hours for next month from 00:00 on the 21st.
• OTO emails you a reminder when the window opens.

The rules for your hours

• Whole hours, Cairo time, between 8 am and midnight.
• Each block must fit at least one 60-minute session, and blocks on the same day can't overlap.
• Your hours must meet your contract: a freelancer offers at least 16 hours a week; a part-time or full-time teacher offers 5 days a week with at least 4 or 7 hours on each day, as the contract sets.

If you miss the window

Outside the 15th to the 20th you can't submit yourself, and your current weekly hours carry on. Not submitting in the window is 8 points under the rulebook. If you need a change outside the window, ask OTO operations: they can set your hours from any day, and every change is recorded.

The support assistant can submit next month's availability for you during the window: it shows the hours it will submit, and nothing is saved until you confirm.
