Your teacher profile and what you see of students

Learners see your public profile. Edit it on My profile: otocourses.app/en/app/teach/profile

Public details wait for HR

  • Your name, headline, about you, photo, intro video, years of experience, certifications, the courses you enjoy and the languages you speak are reviewed by HR before they go public. Press Send to HR for review.
  • Your public profile keeps showing the last approved version until HR approves the changes. One set of changes can wait at a time: sending again replaces it, and you can withdraw it.
  • HR approves, or rejects with a note, and you're emailed the outcome. Nobody reviews their own changes.
  • Photo: JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 2 MB. Intro video: a YouTube link set to Unlisted (not Private, which nobody else can watch), or a Vimeo or Loom link.

Private details save at once

Your WhatsApp number and time zone are private: only you and OTO staff see them, and they save straight away.

Set by HR

What you may teach (course categories and levels), your contract and the native-speaker check are set by HR, not by your profile.

What you see of your students

You see only what you need to teach, and only for students you have a class with: their name, level, goal, pace, interests, occupation, needs, preferred times and time zone. You never see their date of birth, gender, phone or email. Keep student data confidential and use it for teaching only.
