Teaching group classes

Your group classes are under My group classes on your dashboard. Each group shows its learners and its sessions.

The class

Press Enter the class from 10 minutes before the start. Everyone in the group shares one video room. Join on time: a session you never join is not held, is not paid, and is replaced by a make-up session.

Attendance and the report

Once the session has started, open Attendance and report:

• Attendance is filled in from when each learner joined. Correct it if needed: present, late, absent or excused.
• Write what the group covered and the homework. Every learner in the group reads these.
• You may add a short note for each learner; only that learner sees it.

Pay

A group session you hold is paid by the hour at the group's rate (set by OTO for the group; if none is set, your one-to-one rate for the course). If no learner attends, it is paid at half, as for a learner's no-show in a one-to-one class.

DEPI groups

In a DEPI group you may use Arabic alongside English, and this generates no points. The group page says so.
