Rating your class
After a class that took place, you can rate your teacher from 1 to 5 stars and add a comment if you like.
Where to rate
- Home: "Rate your recent classes" lists the classes of the last 7 days you haven't rated yet. Select Rate this class.
- My classes: under a past class, select Rate this class.
- At the end of a class: when you leave the room, select Rate this class. If the class has only just ended, give it a few minutes: a class can be rated once it is marked as held.
Changing your rating
You can change your stars or your comment for 7 days after the class. After that, the rating stays as it is.
Who sees it
- Your stars count in your teacher's rating, which other learners see on the teacher's page.
- Your comment can be shown on the teacher's page as "A learner". Your name is never shown, to other learners or to the teacher.
- OTO's support team can see who wrote a rating, and may hide one that breaks our rules (for example, rude words or personal contact details). You still see a hidden rating, marked as hidden.
Children
For a child's class, the parent rates it from the family account (choose the child first). A child signed in on their own can't rate.
Only a class that took place can be rated. A class that was cancelled, or that your teacher missed, can't be rated: tell us through Help instead.
