Booking and classes

Group classes

A group class is a small group of learners at the same level, with one teacher, meeting at fixed times every week from a start date to an end date.

Joining a group

1. Open Group classes from your home page and choose Find a group. 2. Each group shows its course and level, its teacher, its weekly times (Cairo time), its dates, how many seats are left and its price. 3. Press Join this group and pay as for any package. Your seat is yours as soon as the payment is confirmed.

If a group has already started, you can still join during its first sessions: you pay only for the sessions still to come. A full group may have a waitlist: join it and our team will contact you when a seat is free. You are never charged for a waitlist place.

Your group

My groups shows the schedule, your attendance, each session's report and how many hours of your group package are left. Press Enter the class from 10 minutes before a session starts; the class is a shared video room for the teacher and the group.

Hours and attendance

Your group package holds one hour for each session you bought. Each session the group holds uses one hour, whether or not you attend, because the group meets either way. If the teacher cannot hold a session, no hour is used and a make-up session is added. Your attendance is recorded when you join the room; the teacher can correct it.

A group package is not used for one-to-one booking and cannot be frozen. It expires 14 days after the group's last session.

Reports

After each session the teacher writes what the group covered and the homework. Every learner in the group sees these; a note the teacher writes for you is seen by you only.
