Messages with your learners

Your learners (or a child's parent) can message you while they have an active package with you. Open Messages from Account.

• Reply with text, images (JPEG, PNG, WebP) or PDF files of up to 10 MB. Files are kept for 90 days; the text stays.
• When the learner's package with you ends, the conversation becomes read-only for both of you.
• A message marked parent was written by a child's parent.
• Keep messages to teaching. Don't share personal contact details or arrange lessons outside OTO (Instructor Terms 13.1).
• If a conversation goes wrong, select Report and choose a reason. OTO's support team reads it then; otherwise OTO doesn't read your conversations.

You get a notification when a learner writes (its email can be turned off in Account › Notifications).
