Cookies and your privacy choice
When you first open the OTO Courses website, a banner at the bottom of the page asks about cookies. You choose once, and we remember your choice.
Your two options
- Accept: we also load Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, which help us see how the website is used and which of our ads bring people to us. They never receive your name, email address or phone number.
- Essentials only: only the cookies the website needs to work are used (for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your language). Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel do not load.
Until you choose, nothing optional loads.
How we remember your choice
Your choice is kept in your own browser, in a small cookie called oto_consent, for 180 days. It holds only your choice ("granted" or "essential"), nothing about you. A copy is also kept in your browser's storage. We do not keep your choice on our servers.
After 180 days, or if you clear your browser's cookies, the banner asks again.
Change your mind at any time
Choose Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. The banner opens again, and you can pick the other option. If you switch to Essentials only, we delete the analytics cookies at once and the tools stop.
The banner keeps coming back?
- Private or incognito windows forget everything when you close them, so the banner asks again in each new private window.
- Clearing your browsing data, or a setting that blocks or deletes cookies for websites, removes your choice too.
- Opening the website inside the Facebook or Instagram app uses that app's own browser, which may not keep cookies between visits. Opening the link in your phone's usual browser keeps your choice.
If it still happens in a normal window, write to us from the help chat or on WhatsApp: +20 10 40016865, and tell us your browser and device.
More detail is in the Privacy Policy, clause 14 (Cookies).
