Using the OTO Courses app

The OTO Courses app for iPhone and Android puts your classes in your pocket. It uses the same account as the website: sign in with the same email and password.

What you can do in the app

Home: your next class, the hours left in your packages, and quick links.
My classes: your upcoming and past classes. Open a class to join it, move it or cancel it, and after the class read your teacher's report and homework and watch the recording.
Book a class: choose the package, then the teacher (your package's teacher comes first), then an available hour. The same rules as the website apply: at least 24 hours ahead, on the hour, between 8 am and midnight Cairo time.
Join your class: the Join class button appears 10 minutes before the start. Allow the camera and microphone when your phone asks. Every class is recorded, and the recording stays available for 90 days.
Packages: your hours (left, booked, used) and when each package expires.
Notifications and the Help centre.
Language: switch between العربية and English from the sign-in page or Account. The whole app changes direction at once.

The app opens otocourses.app for these, in a browser window inside the app:

Buying a package: packages are not sold inside the app. Press Buy on the website, choose your course and package and pay on otocourses.app. Your hours appear in the app as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Creating an account, resetting your password, the placement test, editing your profile, notification settings and freezing a package.

Rules for changing a class

You can move or cancel a class up to 8 hours before it starts, twice per level, and not between 12 am and 8 am. Under 8 hours before the start, a class can be cancelled but not moved, and the hour is used. The app shows what a cancel would do before you confirm.

Trouble with the app

Signed out by itself: you, or someone using Sign out of all devices on the website, ended your sessions. Sign in again.
The class doesn't open: it opens 10 minutes before the start. Check that the app may use your camera and microphone in your phone's settings.
