Inviting friends: 10% off for them, a bonus hour for you

You can invite friends to learn English with OTO Courses. When a friend you invite buys their first package, they get 10% off it and you get one bonus hour on your package.

Share your link

1. Open your Home page and find Invite a friend. 2. Copy your link or your code, or press Share to send it on WhatsApp or another app. 3. Your friend opens the link and creates their account. The code is filled in for them. They can also type your code in Referral code when they sign up.

What your friend gets

• 10% off their first package of hours (8, 16, 24 or 32 hours), shown at checkout before they pay.
• The discount is not given on a first-hour trial, on a group class or on later packages.
• One discount applies to each order. If your friend also has a promo code, checkout keeps the larger discount and tells them.

What you get

• One bonus hour, added to your current package when your friend pays for their first package. It expires with that package.
• If you have no package at that moment, the hour waits and is added to your next package.
• Invite a friend shows how many people joined with your code and how many bonus hours you earned.
• If your friend's first package is refunded, your bonus hour is removed if you have not used it yet.
• Bonus hours have no refund value.

The rules

• Only new accounts created with your code count. Each account can be invited once, by one person.
• You cannot invite yourself, for example with a second email address. OTO may cancel a referral that breaks these rules.
• A friend under 16 signs up through a parent's family account, which does not use referral codes.
• The full rules are in the Student Terms.
